About Intro Psych Resources

Intro Psych Resources is an independently operated educational and reference publication covering introductory psychology. It explains foundational concepts across memory, perception, developmental psychology and cognitive science, alongside research methods for students and educators.

The site is named after its domain. Between approximately 2007 and 2015, that domain hosted an open wiki and resource exchange for introductory psychology instructors. This site is not operated by, endorsed by or affiliated with any company, organisation or person that has previously used this domain name or whose name appears in it. In particular, it is not affiliated with the former wiki's creators or contributors, Amy Sweetman, or Los Angeles City College (LACC). The old site's course materials and teaching files are not reproduced here.

Articles are general educational resources and study materials. Nothing on this site is medical, psychiatric or clinical therapy advice, psychological diagnosis, or healthcare counseling; for mental health conditions or distress, always consult a qualified medical professional or local support services. If you spot a mistake, please tell us through the Contact page and we will correct it.
